Welcome to Glasshouse Plantation, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque Glass House Mountains, QLD, Australia. This charming café is not just about serving coffee; it’s about crafting memorable experiences with every sip and bite.

As you approach Glasshouse Plantation, you’ll be greeted by a stunning vista of rolling coffee fields and the majestic backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains. The serene and inviting atmosphere, with ample outdoor seating under shaded canopies and cozy indoor nooks, creates a perfect setting for relaxation, whether you're enjoying a post-hike treat or a quiet morning coffee.

The café prides itself on sourcing ingredients from its own plantation, offering a truly local experience. Their menu features delightful selections such as the Plain Scone served with homemade Fullerton Farm pineapple jam, or the indulgent Sweet Muffins that promise a burst of flavor with every bite. For those craving something heartier, the Ham, Cheese & Tomato Croissant and the Smoked Chicken, Brie & Rosella sandwich offer satisfying savory options that highlight quality ingredients.

Each dish celebrates Queensland’s vibrant nature and flavors. Imagine biting into a warm, freshly baked muffin, or savoring the smooth, rich taste of a latte made from coffee grown just steps away. As one satisfied customer, Narelle Rowan, shared, “We followed the tour of the coffee growing process with coffee and scones deliciously spread with pineapple jam and cream, with a backdrop of the Glasshouse mountains…” This encapsulates the perfect fusion of local culture and exquisite flavors.

Another visitor, Anja Bianca Venn, raved about the café’s hero dish—the savoury muffin with chilli jam and butter. It’s experiences like these that draw people to return, seeking not just a meal but a taste of the community’s craftsmanship and care.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Glasshouse Plantation offers more than just tasty bites and sips; it invites you to immerse yourself in the farm-to-table journey. The friendly staff, like those mentioned in Linda Hansbauer's review, make each visit feel personal, ensuring you always leave with a smile and perhaps even a greater appreciation for your next cup of coffee.

Remember, weekends at Glasshouse Plantation can be particularly lively, so consider an early visit to enjoy breakfast with a view while sipping on 100% Australian-grown coffee. It’s the little things—like the quality of their camel milk or the charm of their homemade treats—that make this café stand out.

We loved the tour of the coffee growing process delivered by Lisa, one of the owners. So informative and we now appreciate the passion behind the endeavour and also what it takes to indulge in our daily cup of coffee. We followed the tour up with coffee and scones deliciously spread with pineapple jam and cream, with a backdrop of the Glasshouse mountains from the cafe. Very Queensland and a lovely way to spend a morning!

Saturdays morning outing for breakfast - decided we drive to the Glasshouse Plantation. A very nice place to have breakfast - with a view of the Glasshouse Mointains. Lots of tables outside - covered - also inside seating. You can see the coffee trees - the souroundings are very well maintained. We had coffee - 100% Australian grown - with camel milk - from a nearby farm - delicious, a muffin with eggs and bacon - we ask if they can half it for us - very tasty and we also tried the Banana bread, served with local butter - delicious. A water station is available - nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Various souveniers - representing the "theme" offered. Next time, we are going to experience the coffee tasting offered. There are guided tours on offer - you wander through the Plantation and learn everything from the "bean to the cup." It is nice to have a place nearby - for a little break - excellent coffee - tranquillity and good service - oh, I forgot to mention the view - thank you, we will be back! Compliments to the management!

What a gem! We stumbled across here looking for a late lunch after a big hike up Ngungun down the road, and what an amazing surprise! They grow their own coffee (my husband loved the latte) and the tea I had also looked like the real deal, potentially also grown here. But my absolute highlight was the savoury muffin with chilli jam and butter!! I could not stop saying how delicious it was Gorgeous location and friendly team - thanks for being our highlight of the day!

A great place for lunch and/or afternoon tea. We’ve been a few times and can very highly recommend Glasshouse Plantation. Very welcoming and a seasonal menu. Our first visit back in January, we shared one of their cheese plates, a tasty baguette, and finished with some of yummy fresh scones and homemade pineapple jam and whipped cream, along with their own grown and roasted coffee We’ve also enjoyed their Frittata & Salad, and Zucchini & Bacon Quiche with salad. Definitely a place we’ll continue to return to!

A delightful little cafe located amongst a coffee bean plantation. So much local produce on the menu, a really nice selection of Gluten Free options and several local varieties of coffee bean for that perfect brew. I opted for the bacon and zucchini slice which came with a quinoa and chickpea salad (the chutney and salad dressing ). The venue itself was open air, clean, staffed adequately with pleasant views of the surroundings. Staff were so lovely and it offered a sense of country service. Parking was plentiful with easy access. Will be back for a bike ride through the local area with a stop here being a highlight! They coffee was

Well worth a visit! Coffee was excellent, I chose a camel chino, made with camel milk from a nearby camel dairy. All the home made food was delicious. We tried the sausage roll, carrot cake, savoury muffin and banana bread. Views of the coffee plantation and glass house mountains are great too!

Visited today for the first time and absolutely loved it. Beautiful surroundings and fantastic food and coffee. The savoury muffins were delicious. We also had the coffee paddle and had the origins of flavours explained by the owner. Highly recommend and we think we will be regulars here, so very worth a visit.
